About Us

Printers’ ink has been in our family for generations

Founded in 1965 from their Valley Stream, NY garage, Izzy and Evelyn Susman were very determined to take their passion for printing as far as they could.

Our first shop was a small store front in Franklin Square, New York. As our customers’ needs grew, so did I.L.S. In 1970, we moved a short distance away into a larger Elmont, Long Island store front. Moving to Elmont provided I.L.S. with room to expand our services to include a larger press, camera/stripping facilities, and the beginning of a bindery department. It also allowed I.L.S. to service more clients which in turn made it necessary to expand once again.

In 1979, I.L.S. moved to Carle Place and purchased their first 2 color 40 inch press. Throughtout the next several years, I.L.S. stayed on top of technology while computers became more prevalent in the graphics industry and printing.

In 2005, I.L.S. Offset moved into our permanent home in West Babylon, New York. With this move came many new improvements including a 6 Color Heidelberg 40″ press, a new Duplo Booklet maker to speed up our bindery operations, new MacIntosh computers, and an FTP Site to speed up file exchange to and from our customers.

None of this would have been possible without the continued loyal support of our customers. Whether you have known us for 60 years or 1 week, we serve you with the same traditional principles that I.L.S. was founded on by our parents.
